Taking Tenzing Across The Firewalk

A group of people standing in front of a fire.

Yesterday at Ealing Studios, we ran a Firewalk for Tenzing, a private equity firm based in central London. Pretty much the whole team showed up and we spent the early evening getting trained up to walk glass and fire. The energy was off the charts and it was a genuine thrill to take them all across the fires.

I asked the team leader for feedback as I know they do these kind of team events every month and I got this in response… ‘It has been our best ever monthly team event so thanks for doing such a good job!’

Outstanding!

OK. Here’s some photos from the day…

A personal journey to rediscovering ‘strength, grit and determination’ by Shona Mapes

That evening, lying in bed, I knew I needed to go to sleep but I just couldn’t switch off. I started to realise that I hadn’t felt this excitement about anything for a while either. Something was telling me I needed to go for it. I knew that this challenge was something I had to do. I turned over to my partner, Jeff, and said: “I think I want to do the fire walk.” I had no idea what his reaction would be.
